The past 10 to 12 years have been rough for a lot of us — especially those of us who are considered to be far left on the political spectrum. 

Much of it is due to what we as a collective had to witness. We’ve watched as Q-Anon brainwashed millions of our friends, neighbors, and family members. 

We’ve watched as the news became increasingly unhinged, with some news broadcasters openly pushing Christian nationalist views. For a while, many of us felt crazy. 

I, personally, was wondering if the drugs I took finally made me nutters. I wasn’t alone in wondering what happened to our news outlets. We all were wondering. 

Nowadays, it became pretty clear what happened. Billionaires and foreign interests bought out the integrity of our press and turned it into a mill for the hard right.
